We welcome you to worship with us on the Sixth Sunday after Epiphany, February 16-17, 2019. Pastor Sam Zumwalt preaches: “The Great Physician: Could Bless and Curse” (Mark 6:17-26). Sunday School for all ages is at 9:45 a.m. A nursery is available all Sunday morning.

Beginning this weekend, Bill Glisson will be playing an Allen digital organ with speakers until Austin Organ Company delivers and installs our new three-manual digital console and new division and the pipes voiced to the room. Several of the existing ranks of pipes are being reconfigured to accommodate the addition of a new division. The completed organ, which will include three digital stops, will be 47 ranks.

Bill Glisson leads the singing of joyous hymns on Saturday at 6pm and on Sunday at 8:30 and 11 am: “O Day of Rest and Gladness” (Entrance); “Jesus Sat with His Disciples” (Hymn of the Day); “Alleluia! Jesus is Risen” (Recessional). Distribution hymns on Sunday include: “Thy Body Given for Me, O Savior” and “I Am Trusting Thee, Lord Jesus.”

On Saturday, Bill plays “God Himself Is Present” (Burkhardt) for the prelude; “Sweet Hour of Prayer” (Powell) at the offering; and “Earth and All Stars” (Burkhardt) for the postlude.

On Sunday, the Adult Choir sings “Here I Am, Lord” (Page) at the 8:30 a.m. offering. At 11 a.m., the Luther (Children’s) Choir sings “You Are Good” (Houghton) at the Children’s Sermon and “The High Road” (Moore) at the offering. Bill plays the same prelude and postlude as Saturday for both.

You are invited to join us for Bible study and sung Evening Prayer on Mondays at 6 p.m.

You are invited to celebrate the Holy Eucharist and to receive anointing and prayer for healing each Wednesday at 12 noon.
