WELCOME IN THE NAME OF JESUS! As we celebrate a national Day of Thanksgiving, Pastor Michael
Bergbower, our Visitation Pastor, urges us to “Pray, Praise, and Give Thanks” in gratitude for all that the Triune God has done, is doing, and will do for His people. We do well to remember that prayer is more than an endless series of requests for what we do not presently have. Rather, our heartfelt prayers ought to be marked by confessions of past ingratitude and filled with proper adoration, praise, and thanksgiving for all the many blessings with which our heavenly Father has bestowed us. May we pause this week in the midst of a busy lives to remember who and Whose we are through our Baptism into Christ Jesus!
