Our next New Disciples Class is on Saturday, April 27, at 9 a.m. in the church library. This class is designed for those new to the Lutheran church or even new to Christianity.

We look closely at what Scripture has to say about Holy Baptism, Holy Communion, and the Church’s worship. Rather than beginning with ME, we begin with GOD and what He has done in Jesus Christ for sinners. Scripture teaches that humans are born dead in our trespasses, which very much excludes the idea that we are in charge. This rather flies in the face of what we are constantly told by those seeking to manipulate us into buying what they are selling (including slickly marketed religion). At the end of all things, we discover that GOD is, in fact, the center of the universe, its Maker and Owner.

You are invited to begin a conversation in which it’s not about you. The Good News is for you and your salvation.
