With thanksgiving for the life of St. John the Baptist, let us pray with the Lord Jesus Christ for the unity of His Church; for Bishops Eaton and Smith; for Francis, Bartholomew, and all bishops, for all pastors including Samuel Zumwalt, Marvin Schedler, Robert Weeks, Robert Kuppler; Peter Hoyer, Michael Megahan; Michael Bergbower; Russell Graef; for all church workers; for Stēphen Ministers; for the people of God, and for all people according to their needs. [Pause]

A: Holy Father, we pray for the Church of the Augsburg Confession throughout the world, for the faithfulness of all the churches to the truth of God’s Word, and for the proclamation of this Gospel to all people. Lord, in your mercy,

A: Almighty Father, we pray for peace in the world, for peace in the Church, for peace in our homes and families; and for peace in our lives. Lord, in your mercy.

A: Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of life in this world from the moment of conception until we take our last breath. Look with kindness upon all pregnant women and their babies, especially remembering Kāttie Duff, and Jana Stroehl. We give thanks for the birthdays of John Stemke; Kris Hall; Ava Porter; Leo Andron; and Mary Pollard. Lord, in your mercy,
