Sunday 11:00 AM Eucharist

We welcome you in Jesus’ name to worship with us at our Sunday 11:00 AM Eucharist celebrating the Baptism of our Lord and the First Sunday after Epiphany. Pastor Sam Zumwalt preaches: “The Word of God: Lives” (Romans 6:1-11). From the console of our 47 rank Austin pipe organ with trompette-en-chamade, Bill Glisson leads the singing of joyous hymns on Sunday: “All Who Believe and Are Baptized” (Entrance); “To Jordan’s River Came Our Lord” (Hymn of the Day); “God’s Own Child I Gladly Say It” (Recessional). Our 11 a.m. distribution hymns are: “Beautiful Savior” and “God Loves Me Dearly” The color of the day is white. Officers and church council will be installed at any of the three Eucharists.

Other special music includes: “Air from Water Music Suite” (G.F. Handel) will be Bill Glisson’s prelude; Teresa Hall sings “The Lone Wild Bird” (Southern melody) at the 11 a.m. offering; “Hornpipe from Water Music Suite” (G.F. Handel) will be Bill Glisson’s postlude.
