Sunday 11:00 AM Eucharist

June 5, 2022

WELCOME IN THE NAME OF JESUS! Worship with us at our 11:00 AM Sunday Eucharist on the Feast of Pentecost. The Rev’d. Fr. Samuel David Zumwalt preaches, “Holy Baptism: Come, Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:1-21). The Bride of Christ, the Church, prays fervently, “Come, Holy Spirit.” The color of the day is red for the fire of the Holy Spirit and for the blood of the faithful witnesses to the Lord Jesus Christ.

From the console of our 47 rank Austin pipe organ with trompette-en-chamade, Bill Glisson leads the traditional Eucharists on Sunday in the singing of joyous hymns: “O Day Full of Grace” (Entrance); “Come, Holy Ghost, Creator Blest” (Hymn of the Day); and “Rejoice, O Pilgrim Throng” (Recessional). Our 11 a.m. Sunday distribution hymns are: “Children of the Heavenly Father”; “O Blessed Spring”; “Spirit of God, Descend Upon My Heart”; and “Come Down, O Love Divine.”
