May 30, 2021

We welcome you in Jesus’ name to celebrate with us on the Feast of the Holy Trinity, at our 11:00 AM Eucharist. Pastor Carl Voges, STS, preaches a sermon based on John 20:19-23. From the console of our 47 rank Austin pipe organ with trompette-en-chamade, Bill Glisson leads: “Thy Strong Word” (Entrance); “Alleluia! Let Praises Ring” (Hymn of the Day); “The Church’s One Foundation” (Recessional). Our Sunday distribution hymns are: “Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence”; “Holy, Holy, Holy” and “We Praise You and Acknowledge You.” You are invited to wear white to worship this weekend. The color of the day is white for the purity of the Holy Trinity.

Special music includes: “Song for All the Saints’” (McDonald) is Bill Glisson’s organ prelude; “Our Song Shall Rise to Thee” (Martin) is the Adult Choir offering anthem on Sunday; “Now Thank We All Our God” (J.S. Bach/Virgil Fox arrangement) is Bill’s postlude.

The Recognition of Ordination Anniversaries for seven pastors will be celebrated on the Feast of the Holy Trinity at 11 a.m. Eucharist.
