WELCOME IN THE NAME OF JESUS! Worship with us at our 11:00 AM Sunday Eucharist on the First Sunday in Advent. The Rev’d. Fr. Samuel David Zumwalt preaches, “Holy Communion: Holy Peace” (Isaiah 2:1-5). The color of the day is blue signifying our hope in Jesus Christ.

From the console of our 47 rank Austin pipe organ with trompette-en-chamade, Bill Glisson leads on Sunday morning in the singing of joyous hymns: “Wake, Awake, For Night Is Flying” (Entrance); “Savior of the Nations, Come” (Hymn of the Day); “Lift Up Your Heads, Ye Mighty Gates” (Recessional). Our 11am distribution hymns are: “Now the Silence”; “Here, O My Lord, I See You Thee to Face”; and “My Lord, What a Morning.”

Special music for the weekend includes: Bill Glisson’s organ prelude “Nun Komm der Heiden Heiland” (Freese); The Adult Choir sings “Keep You Lamps Trimmed and Burning” (Thomas) at the 11 a.m. offering. Bill’s postlude, “Wake, Awake, For Night Is Flying“ (Nicholai).
