Sunday Contemporary Eucharist

September 11, 2022

WELCOME IN THE NAME OF JESUS! Worship with us at our 8:30 AM Sunday Contemporary Eucharist on the Fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost. The Rev’d. Fr. Samuel David Zumwalt preaches, “Holy Baptism: Strengthens” (1 Timothy 1:12-17). The color of the day is green signifying growing in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, His Father, and the Holy Spirit. We remember the victims of the 911 Terrorist Attacks and their families.

The Joyful Noise Ensemble leads the 8:30 a.m. Eucharist in the singing of joyous hymns and spiritual songs: “You Servants of God”; “There’s a Wideness in God’s Mercy”; “I Am Jesus’ Little Lamb”; “God of Our Fathers.”

Special music for the weekend includes: The Joyful Noise Ensemble sings “May You Run and Not Be Weary” (Wiens) for the 8:30 a.m. Sunday offering.
